QUANTA · QuantaCore Labs
Terms of Service
Effective 2026-09-02 · Applies to the Quanta web app, the Quanta Android app, and Quanta Sync for desktop.
The short version: use Quanta for anything lawful and decent. Paid plans are monthly and you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. Quanta is an AI: it can be wrong, and it is not a doctor, a lawyer, or a financial adviser. Your conversations and your memory are yours. If something goes wrong, write to us and we will deal with it like people.
1. Who this is between
These terms are an agreement between you and QuantaCore Labs, based in Alberta, Canada, covering the Quanta platform: the web app, the Android app, Quanta Sync for desktop, and the models and services behind them. Using any of them means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quanta. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
- An account is for one person. Do not share your password.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Turn on two-factor authentication if you can; it is in Settings, and it is the single best thing you can do to protect the account.
- If you forget your password, use Reset on the sign-in screen. A link goes to the address on the account, works once, and expires in 45 minutes. If two-factor is on, resetting still requires your authenticator or a recovery code — losing your email does not hand somebody your account.
- Keep your email address current. It is the only route back into your account, and we cannot restore access to an address you no longer control.
- You may delete your account at any time from the app. Deletion removes your server-side records and cancels any subscription.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- The free tier is free, permanently. It is not a trial and it does not expire. Quanta Nano and Quanta Super Speed have no message limit on any plan, so you are never left without a working model.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in Canadian dollars through Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers.
- Cancel any time, from the billing portal in the app. Cancellation stops the next charge and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate a partial month.
- Refunds. If Quanta failed you — an outage, a charge you did not expect, a plan that did not do what the page said — write to us and we will refund you. We would rather refund an unhappy customer than keep the money.
- Prices can change. If a price changes, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel first.
- Each plan states its limits on the pricing page, and those numbers are what the service actually enforces. If we ever need to change a limit, the page changes with it.
4. What you may not do
Quanta is governed by The Foundational Code of Ethics, which the models carry themselves. The bright lines in that document are the ones that matter here too. In particular, do not use Quanta to:
- build weapons capable of mass harm, or plan violence against anyone;
- produce sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises a real person without consent;
- harass, stalk, impersonate, defraud or deceive people;
- break the law, or help somebody else break it;
- attack the service — scraping it, reselling access, working around the plan limits, or automating abuse of the free tier.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.
5. What Quanta is, and is not
- Quanta can be wrong. Every model can produce confident, plausible text that is false. Check anything that matters. The app says so under the composer, and we mean it.
- It is not professional advice. Quanta is not a doctor, lawyer, accountant, therapist or financial adviser. It can help you think, prepare and understand; it cannot replace a professional who is accountable to you.
- In an emergency, contact emergency services. Do not rely on an AI.
- Availability is best effort. Models, limits and features can change as the platform develops.
6. Your content and ours
- What you write stays yours. You keep ownership of the prompts, files and conversations you bring to Quanta.
- What Quanta writes back is yours to use, for anything these terms permit, including commercially. We claim no ownership of the output.
- You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to process what you send in order to generate a reply, and to sync your conversations if you turn that on.
- We do not train models on your conversations.
- Quanta, QuantaCore Labs, the marks, the software and the models remain ours. See Licenses for the open-source components we build on and their terms.
7. Privacy
How your data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. The design intent is stated there plainly: your memory lives on your device, and nothing is sold.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Quanta and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 4, that charges back a legitimate payment, or where we are required to by law. If we end a paid account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period.
9. Liability
Quanta is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, QuantaCore Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived, and in Canada those rights stand regardless of what this page says.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. For a change that materially affects you, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Quanta after that date means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction — without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
